Our firm was formed in March 1996, when the principals -- Rick Ottolino, Robert Winters, Mary Huebner -- purchased the Saint Louis office of Stone Marraccini Patterson.

Our founding date may be recent, but the OWH lineage is firmly rooted in Saint Louis' architectural history, with ties back to Smith-Entzeroth Inc., a highly acclaimed Saint Louis architectural design firm dating to the 1950's. The SMP Saint Louis office was established in 1981, and acquired Smith-Entzeroth in 1986. Smith-Entzeroth and SMP completed major projects for, among others:
