Barnes Jewish Hospital 16th Floor Patient Division

Originally medical office space, the sixteenth floor of Barnes Jewish Hospital South was planned for a complete renovation that would house two major patient divisions. The East Pavilion space includes the 16400/16500 Patient Division dedicated to Transplant Patient Services. Working with the Design Leadership, the patient division was designed to incorporate the latest research in terms of private patient rooms and staff workplace efficiency. The patient room model is based upon the Progress West single patient room and the challenge was the adaptation of the model to an existing facility floor plate.
